Contraindications:

  • Alcohol or drug intoxication

  • Severe exhaustion

  • Intense fear or anxiety around needles

How to Prepare:

  • Eat beforehand: Avoid coming on an empty stomach to reduce the risk of dizziness or fainting.

  • Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water on the day of your session.

  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing: Access is needed to acupuncture points on the forehead, wrists, forearms, hands, feet, and legs.

Expect a relaxing session where gentle acupuncture techniques will help restore your body’s natural balance.

Meet Dr. Leizl, ND

Dr. Leizl is a licensed naturopathic doctor passionate about empowering patients to achieve optimal health through a compassionate, evidence-based approach. She believes in creating a patient-centred experience and helping individuals uncover and address the root causes of their health concerns. Her collaborative style fosters a safe, supportive environment where patients feel truly heard and guided on their wellness journey.

During her clinical year in school, she preceptored at community acupuncture clinics in Toronto to learn firsthand how healing community acupuncture can be. 

Her practice focuses on comprehensive care for digestive, thyroid, and hormonal health. She develops personalized and sustainable health solutions tailored to each patient’s unique needs by integrating the latest research with a holistic treatment framework.
